IDEM Safety SwitchesThe IDEM WMC hygiecode coded non contact WMC switch has been specifically designed for food processing applications. It has robust 32mm wide housing, no moving parts and survives chock and vibration. It is been designed to work up to 125C but specified to 105C and tested to IP69K for high pressure hosing with detergent at 80C and 100 PSI.

The IDEM WMC has a switching tolerance up to 14mm as well as a wide 14mm sending high tolerance to misalignment which will operate with most safety relays. It is suitable for CIP SIP cleaning with food splash zones (EHEDG guidelines) coded magnetic actuation and LED indication.

The IDEM WMC has quick connect M12 version fitted with 250mm (10”) cable and three switches connected in series to an SCR-2 and SCR-3 to give dual channel monitoring with auto start contactor feedback check. This version also has an optional auxiliary circuit which provides remote signalling from each switch.
